How to make an exception for Surfshark in Kaspersky antivirus settings

In this article, you will learn how to make an exception for Surfshark on the Kaspersky antivirus application.

You will need the Kaspersky app and an active Surfshark subscription. Don't have a subscription yet? Get one on our Surfshark pricing page.

In order to create an exception, complete both of the steps below:

Make a network exception Surfshark

Create an exception for Surfshark

Launch the Kaspersky app and click on Settings at the bottom-left corner of the interface.
Go to the Threats and Exclusions tab, scroll down, and click on Manage exclusions.
Click on Add.
Click Browse...
Locate the Surfshark application folder and click on Select. Surfshark's installation directory: C:\Program Files\Surfshark
Select All components and click Add.
You'll be brought back to the Exclusions list. Click OK once again.
Make sure to hit Save.

Make a network exception for Surfshark

Launch the Kaspersky app and click on Settings at the bottom-left corner of the interface.
In the Protection tab, click on Network Attack Blocker.
Click on Manage exclusions.
Click on Add.
Enter the following IP address: 1.1.1.1
Click on Add.
Click OK once again.
Lastly, hit Save.

NOTE: For the changes to apply, make sure to reboot your computer.
